About Dianoush Emami

Informing Project Safety and Engineering Mandates

Based in California, Dianoush Emami has more than four decades of experience as an infrastructure-focused electrical engineer. Working with companies like Bechtel Power Corporation, Dianoush Emami has undertaken safety and quality management in project areas such as high-voltage electrical distribution, transmission, and substation design.

Mr. Emami has also led efforts to develop and implement organization-wide safety initiatives and conducted detailed safety audits. Dianoush Emami provided California executives and field personnel with training that helped ensure compliance with rigorous Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) mandates.

Among the projects Mr. Emami has been part of, he administered specifications at the Alvin F. Vogtle Nuclear Power Plant in Georgia. He oversaw over two dozen contracts in communications, electrical penetration assemblies, transformers, and inverters. Dianoush Emami also undertook failure modes and effects analysis. He calculated critical aspects of plant operations surrounding heat dissipation, diesel generator loading, and the effects of voltage drops on communication systems.
